"We drove over 350,000 miles over some of the worst terrain that could be possible for a transportation unit," said First Sgt. Scott Lehmkuhl. Troops drove though enemy territory, dodged roadside bombs and came face to face with death daily. The endless hard work earned the company high honors. The 114th has been named the Army National Guard unit of the year by the National Defense Transportation Association.
